Huawei Launches a Porsche Version of Mate 10 (The Premium Pro)

The unquestioned dominance of the high end premium segment of the mobile phone industry by Apple and Samsung now seems to be facing a serious threat by the unexpected emergence of Huawei as a force to reckon with.

The Chinese multinational company released the premium version of Huawei Mate 10 with the Pro version and the outstanding spec it came with has set many mouths wagging. However, it’s becoming a little difficult to decipher whether the bedlam surrounding the emergence of the phone is due to its impressive spec or it’s over the roof price.

At a princely price of $1646, the Huawei Mate 10 Pro was undoubtedly made for people at the top of the food chain. For others whose wallets are not heavy enough to foot the bill for this phone, they can only bite their lips and hope for a future drop in price or try and win some jackpot.

In the words of Richard Yu, Huawei’s CEO, he said in quote “compared with Samsung and Apple, ‘we have advantages, ‘users are I for much faster performance, longer battery life and more compact design” .

The Huawei Mate 10 Pro is relatively small in size and can easily be held with one hand but the hardware is also well optimized as the display fills up much of the phone.

It has a curved back glass case which is designed to fit more comfortably in your palm. Although the phone cannot be charged wirelessly but it also has a supercharge feature that makes it possible for the 4000 mAh battery to be charged from zero 58 percent within 30 minutes.

The company also emphasized that the Huawei Mate 10 Pro can last for up to 2 days of optimal usage.
