If you’re like most people in today’s fast moving world, catching a good hilarious laugh may have become a luxury and a lot of the so called comedy films being churned out in recent times are not helping matters too as they are largely “dry” and lacking in serious humor.

In order to alleviate this problem, we decided to dig into the archives and search through history for the most hilarious comedy films ever produced.

We are not oblivious of the fact that what is termed funny could be subjective in the same way that what could be called beautiful would depend on the eyes that behold it. Be that as it may, the only way to get an unbiased and reliable result will be through a general consensus.

2. Borat (2006)

This film revolves around a certain reporter from Kazakhstan named Borat who arrived the United States on a mission to learn its culture. The film has many hilarious lines and scenes and equally caused quite a stir in the former Soviet enclave of Kazakhstan.

3. Coming to America (1988)

This film is about a prince from Africa (Eddie Murphy) who came to America hoping find a woman he would marry.

4. The 40 year old Virgin (2005)

It is an American sex comedy movie and was written and directed by Judd Apatow and captured a man of 40 years who still remained a virgin.

5. Team America: World police (2004)

Was a satirical action comedy film that made use of puppets as its characters. It will surely leave you laughing out loud.

6. Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004)

This film was directed by Adam McKay and produced by Judd Apatow while Will Ferrell was the main actor. Although it was released in 2004, the film was actually based on the 1970’s lifestyle.

7. Annie Hall (1977)

This comedy film was acted about 40 years ago yet it has remained relevant with its laugh inducing scenes and characters.

8. Bridesmaids (2011)

The Bridesmaids was a comedy acted about an uncanny rivalry between the maid of honor and the bridesmaid.

9. Step Brothers (2008)

The comedy film was directed by Adam McKay and was about two lazy middle aged losers who were still living at their parents home and couldn’t get a grip on their lives.

10. Rush Hour (2001)

The comedy film starred the legendary Jackie Chain and his buddy Chris Tucker. There were lots of action, stunts and a lot of funny scenes as well.
